File disclosure and crash via unsafe XML parsing
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
XXE in anzory Postprocessor IDE for SolidCAM 1.0.0 through 1.0.1 allows attackers to read local files and crash its language server. GpplVmidParser.TryParse loads the companion .vmid with XDocument.Load and no restrictive XmlReaderSettings, so DTD external entities and recursive expansion are processed. Referencing an untrusted .gpp file is sufficient to trigger the paired .vmid parse, exposing local data and stalling the VS Code extension host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
