Container command execution via unescaped database credentials
Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Jul 7, 2026
OS command injection in Coolify before 4.0.0-beta.474 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands inside database containers. The six database Start actions interpolate unchecked credential fields into shell-evaluated Docker Compose command or healthcheck strings. A high-privilege authenticated user must be able to create or configure a database; execution remains inside its database container.
