OAuth state disclosure via unvalidated authorization host
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
Open redirect in draw.io before 29.7.9 allows remote attackers to obtain OAuth state tokens through a crafted link and user interaction. The client applies the gitlab and gitlab-id query parameters without validation or an allowlist, then uses them to build the GitLab OAuth authorization URL and client ID. A user must open the link and click Authorize in GitLab; the attacker-controlled popup enables credential phishing and OAuth login CSRF.
