Admin-level SSRF via unchecked SMTP host
Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026
SSRF in FlowCI flow-core-x 1.23.01 allows remote authenticated users to make the server connect to attacker-selected SMTP endpoints. ConfigServiceImpl.Save stores option.getServer() without destination checks, and the email trigger supplies it to JavaMailSender as the SMTP host. Default RBAC restricts both actions to administrators; the SMTP sink supports internal reachability probing, outbound-policy bypass, and connection delays rather than direct HTTP data retrieval.
