Authenticated backend disclosure via resource path traversal
Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026
Path traversal in affected Grafana OSS releases allows remote authenticated users with Viewer permissions to read sensitive Loki backend data. The Loki data source plugin's callResource handler fails to confine a crafted resource path and forwards requests to administrative endpoints such as /config, /services, and /ready. Viewer access and a configured Loki data source are required; returned responses expose backend configuration and internal service details without reported write or service-interruption capability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
