Authenticated data theft and tampering via unchecked SQL
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Sparx Systems Pro Cloud Server 6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary SQL queries. The database communication path accepts user-supplied SQL and executes it in the configured database user's context without checking the caller's permissions. A low-privileged account is required, and successful exploitation permits database reads and writes without user interaction.
