Telemetry disclosure and deletion via unparameterized TSDB queries
Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026
SQL injection in OpenC3 COSMOS 6.7.0 through 7.0.0-rc2 allows remote authenticated users to read or delete telemetry data. The tsdb_lookup function in cvt_model.rb interpolates start_time and end_time values from get_tlm_values into QuestDB SQL rather than binding parameters. Any Admin, Operator, Viewer, or Runner account with the tlm permission can expose database contents or delete historical data and tables.
