Authenticated information disclosure via missing read permissions
Published May 9, 2026 · Updated May 9, 2026
Missing authorization in Kirby before 4.9.0 and 5.0.0 through 5.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to read restricted CMS data. Site, user, and role read paths expose models, content, role names, descriptions, and configured permissions because the corresponding access and list permission checks are absent. Any authenticated Panel user can obtain this information unless every user is intentionally permitted to access it; write operations remain gated.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
