Remote command execution via unsanitized disk parameters
Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026
OS command injection in D-Link NAS and NVR firmware 20260205 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands via dsk_mgr.cgi. FMT_create_diskmgr passes attacker-controlled f_filesystem and f_sethdsize values into an OS command without neutralizing shell syntax. The public PoC reports no authentication, while the CNA's CVSS assessments require low privileges; successful exploitation grants shell access.
