Command execution via unsafe artifact rendering and IPC
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Stored XSS in LobeHub before 2.1.48 allows remote attackers to execute commands through malicious LLM output in the desktop client. The artifact renderer sends unmatched custom-tag content to HTMLRenderer without neutralizing active markup, exposing electronAPI to injected script and its unfiltered runCommand IPC handler. Execution requires a user to configure the attacker's LLM endpoint and chat in the Electron client; commands run with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
