Unauthenticated token disclosure via trailing-slash filter bypass
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Improper authentication in affected JFrog Artifactory 7.x releases allows remote attackers to obtain an internal anonymous-user token. A trailing slash on /access/api/v1/aws/token/ makes AwsTokenAuthenticationFilter skip AWS validation, after which AwsResource mints a JWT for the anonymous identity. No account or user interaction is required; the token grants only the resources available to that identity unless combined with separate flaws.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
