CVE-2026-41970

Service interruption via distributed filesystem out-of-bounds write

Published May 15, 2026 · Updated May 15, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in the distributed file system of Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows attackers to interrupt service via adjacent access. Huawei has not disclosed the specific routine, attacker-controlled input, or missing bounds check that permits the write outside its intended memory region. Low privileges and adjacent-network access are required; affected releases are HarmonyOS 3.1.0, 4.0.0, 4.2.0, 4.3.0, and 4.3.1 and EMUI 13.0.0, 14.0.0, 14.2.0, and 15.0.0, with service interruption as the documented consequence.
