CVE-2026-41938Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated RCE via incomplete media extension deny list

Published May 6, 2026 · Updated May 6, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in givanz Vvveb before 1.0.8.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP with web server privileges. The media upload handler checks an incomplete extension deny list, accepting .htaccess and .phtml files so Apache maps an uploaded PHP payload to its handler. Media-upload permission and Apache with mod_php and AllowOverride All are required; a later unauthenticated GET executes the payload.
