Unauthenticated reflected XSS via editor preview bypass
Published May 7, 2026 · Updated May 7, 2026
Reflected XSS in Vvveb before 1.0.8.2 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in the Vvveb origin through a crafted request. The isEditor() gate treats any r query parameter as an editor request, while system/core/view.php copies the raw html POST value into the response without encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious link or submitted form; the resulting script can read same-origin data and act through the victim's session.
