Unauthenticated shell command execution via CGI parameters
Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026
OS command injection in WDR201A WiFi Extender firmware LFMZX28040922V1.02 allows remote attackers to execute shell commands. The set_wifi_basic and set_wifi_do_wps handlers pass sz11gChannel and PIN POST values from web_get() to do_system() without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Unauthenticated access to the HTTP management interface is sufficient, and injected commands run in the device operating-system context.
