Cross-channel allowlist modification via missing owner check
Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.4.8 allows remote authenticated users to modify allowlists across chat channels. The /allowlist command accepts a target channel from an authorized non-owner sender but omits the owner-only check before applying a cross-channel allowlist write. Command authorization is required; exploitation changes channel trust configuration but has no reported data-access or service-interruption impact.
