CVE-2026-4191Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via unchecked extension

Published Mar 15, 2026 · Updated Mar 15, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in JawherKl node-api-postgres 2.0 through 2.5 allows remote attackers to store arbitrary files. The profile-picture route passes the original filename to path.extname and writes the upload under that extension without a type allowlist or content check. The route has no authentication gate, and the uploads directory is web-accessible, exposing attacker-supplied content from the server origin.
