Unintended resource loading via unencoded URL parameters
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
URL injection in Locize i18next-locize-backend before 9.0.2 allows remote attackers to load unintended resources via crafted URL parameters. The interpolate helper in lib/utils.js substitutes lng, ns, projectId, and version without encoding before five URL-building call sites use the result. Reachability requires an application to expose one of those values to untrusted input; custom internal or file-scheme load paths permit SSRF or arbitrary-file reads.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
