Remote code execution via wildcard CDN EL evaluation
Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026
Expression Language injection in OmniFaces allows remote attackers to execute code in permissive EL contexts via crafted resource requests. CDNResourceHandler places a request-controlled resource name into a wildcard CDN mapping and evaluates embedded EL server-side. Exposure requires a wildcard mapping; impact depends on available EL objects, ranging from information disclosure and denial of service to remote code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
