CVE-2026-41879

Superadmin credential recovery via unsalted nested MD5

Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026

Weak password hashing in R-SOFT DMS before 3.17-2000 allows attackers to recover superadmin credentials from an obtained password hash. The product stores the superadmin password as an unsalted nested MD5 digest, making the original credential recoverable after the stored hash is obtained. Exploitation requires access to that hash; the credential then grants superadmin access, and the affected password can be changed only in the configuration file.
