Cross-site scripting via attacker-selected JSONP callback
Published Mar 15, 2026 · Updated Mar 15, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Baidu UEditor 1.4.3.0 through 1.4.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to run script via a JSONP callback. The JSONP handler in php/controller.php accepts callback as a JavaScript identifier and emits it as a function call around the upload response. A victim must load the crafted upload URL; the selected callback then executes in the UEditor deployment's origin and can modify page content.
