Service interruption via unbounded property-path cache

Resource exhaustion in affected Spring Data Commons releases allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted HTTP property strings. PropertyPath.from caches failed lookups by attacker-controlled property name and retains each unique negative result without a bound or eviction policy. Reachability requires an application to forward HTTP values to that method, notably default-permit-all Querydsl web bindings or @ProjectedPayload form binding; repeated unique names exhaust JVM heap.
