CVE-2026-41709Network attack vector

Administrator activity concealment via unlogged operations

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

Insufficient logging in VMware ESX 8.0, 9.0.x.x, and 9.1.x.x allows remote authenticated users to perform unlogged operations. The undisclosed ESX logging component fails to record certain administrator operations; Broadcom supplies no additional technical details. Network access and administrator privileges are required; the same ESX component is affected in VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere Foundation, and Telco Cloud Platform.
