Query logic injection in Spring Data Relational, JDBC, and R2DBC affected releases allows remote attackers to infer queried entity data. The STARTING, ENDING, and CONTAINING StringMatcher modes bind externally controlled values without escaping LIKE wildcards, creating a boolean oracle. Exploitation requires an explicitly exposed, untrusted QBE probe; affected ranges span 3.0.0 through 3.0.15, 3.1.0 through 3.1.14, 3.2.0 through 3.2.15, 3.3.0 through 3.3.16, 3.4.0 through 3.4.14, 3.5.0 through 3.5.11, and 4.0.0 through 4.0.5, plus 2.4.0 through 2.4.19 for Relational and JDBC and 1.5.0 through 1.5.19 for R2DBC.
