Administrator-only script execution via unescaped XML fields
Published Mar 15, 2026 · Updated Mar 15, 2026
Cross-site scripting in TCExam 16.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through an XML user export. F_xml_export_users directly concatenates user and group values into XML without F_text_to_xml escaping, permitting injected markup in the generated document. Exploitation requires administrator privileges to create and consume the crafted export, and the vendor disputes its security significance.
