XML node injection via verbatim PI serialization

XML injection in affected xmldom packages allows remote attackers to insert arbitrary nodes into serialized XML through crafted PI data. The createProcessingInstruction flow stores untrusted data unchanged, and XMLSerializer emits node.data verbatim, so ?> closes the PI early and turns the remaining payload into live markup. Exploitation requires an application to accept untrusted PI data and serialize it; affected releases are @xmldom/xmldom before 0.8.13 or 0.9.0 through 0.9.9, and xmldom 0.6.0 and earlier.
