Attribute disclosure and session termination via ignored validation
Published May 7, 2026 · Updated May 7, 2026
Improper SAML signature verification in Admidio before 5.0.9 allows remote attackers to process forged authentication and logout requests. SAMLService::handleSSORequest and handleSLORequest discard failure strings from validateSignature, so execution continues as though validation succeeded. When SAML and signature enforcement are configured, forged requests can disclose a logged-in user's attributes or terminate a user's session.
