Cross-site scripting in BentoPDF before 2.8.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript through a crafted Markdown file. The Markdown editor enables raw HTML in markdown-it and assigns rendered output to preview.innerHTML without sanitization. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled Markdown; injected code runs in the application origin and can read files opened in BentoPDF.
