CVE-2026-4157

Root code execution via unvalidated OCPP string

Published Apr 11, 2026 · Updated Apr 11, 2026

OS command injection in ChargePoint Home Flex 5.5.4.13 allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to execute code as root. The revssh service handles an attacker-controlled string from an OCPP message without validation and passes it to a system call. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the attacker must reach the charger from an adjacent network; successful exploitation grants root control of the device.
