CVE-2026-41566Network attack vector

Cross-namespace data modification via unguarded APPLYBATCH

Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026

Authorization failure in Apache Kvrocks 2.8.0 through 2.15.0 allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary database data via APPLYBATCH. The APPLYBATCH command registration omits the admin attribute, so a namespace-authenticated client can submit a serialized RocksDB batch that the server applies without an administrator check. A namespace token and network access are required; successful exploitation can alter database state beyond the caller's authorized namespace.
