Authentication bypass via exposed command-line admin token
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Information exposure in Dgraph before 25.3.3 allows remote attackers to obtain an Alpha admin token through an unauthenticated endpoint. Alpha serves Go's http.DefaultServeMux, whose expvar /debug/vars handler serializes os.Args into the cmdline field without filtering the --security token. When Alpha's HTTP port is reachable and the token is passed on the command line, token replay grants access to admin-only read, write, and operational actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
