Path traversal in Frappe Framework before 16.18.3 allows remote authenticated users to read server-local files through PDF generation. The Chrome PDF Generator's intercept_request_for_local_resources callback URL-decodes a resource path and reads the resolved filesystem path without first enforcing containment within the permitted assets or public-files directory. Low-privileged network access is required; the demonstrated consequence is confidentiality loss, with no reported file modification or service interruption.
