Database compromise via unparameterized sync values
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
SQL injection in Saltcorn mobile-sync routes allows remote authenticated users to read or alter application database data. The getSyncRows() and getDelRows() paths interpolate request-controlled maxLoadedId and timestamp values into SQL template literals without type enforcement, sanitization, or parameter binding. A normal account with read access to one table can reach the endpoints, enabling database-wide disclosure and, depending on the backend, modification or destruction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
