Administrator-session code execution via stored scanner findings
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Stored XSS in the AI Scanner dashboard in CyberPanel before 2.4.5 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted callback. The callback stores attacker-controlled findings in ScanHistory, and scanner.html inserts their fields into HTML template literals without escaping. Exploitation requires a valid scan ID and an administrator to open the dashboard; same-origin requests can then create a cron job that executes commands as the website user.
