Authenticated log-file disclosure via unchecked logname path
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
Path traversal in ProjeQtOr 7.0 through 12.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary .log files via the log viewer. The /tool/dynamicDialog.php endpoint uses the unvalidated logname parameter to construct a path, so ../ sequences escape the intended directory. A valid session and a known or guessable path are required, and the extension check limits disclosure to files ending in .log.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
