CVE-2026-41421Public exploit

Desktop code execution via raw notification HTML

Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026

Cross-site scripting in SiYuan desktop before 3.6.5 allows local users to execute OS commands through crafted notification messages. The pushMsg route forwards the msg value to message.ts, where insertAdjacentHTML parses it as HTML inside an Electron renderer with Node integration enabled. An authenticated API token and access to the running local instance are required; successful execution gains the SiYuan desktop user's OS privileges.
