CVE-2026-41377Network attack vector

Untrusted plugin installation via ignored scan failures

Published Apr 28, 2026 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Fail-open plugin installation in OpenClaw 2026.3.28 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to install untrusted code. The source scanner catches scan exceptions and returns an error status, but the installation path does not convert that status into a blocking error. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and operator approval despite a visible scan warning, permitting untrusted plugin files to enter the host.
