Authenticated information disclosure via unsafe environment overrides
Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026
Environment sanitization flaws in OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 allow remote authenticated users to disclose host data through exec requests. The sanitizeHostExecEnv policy uses an incomplete denylist and passes variables that redirect package sources, Docker endpoints, compiler paths, and TLS trust roots. Access to an authorized host-execution surface is required; the published assessments identify confidentiality impact only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
