CVE-2026-41355

Host code execution via mirrored workspace hooks

Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026

Arbitrary code execution in OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 allows local users to execute host code through OpenShell mirror mode. The OpenShell backend's mirror sync copied every top-level sandbox entry into the host workspace, including attacker-controlled hooks treated as trusted executable code. Exploitation requires mirror mode, enabled hooks, explicit hook opt-in, and a gateway restart; successful execution runs with the host OpenClaw process's privileges.
