Group DM policy bypass via message misclassification
Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026
Authorization bypass in OpenClaw 2026.3.28 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to invoke Discord Group DM components. The interaction resolver treats any event without a guild ID as a direct message, so Group DM events skip the group-enabled and channel-allowlist checks. Exploitation requires access to an integrated Discord Group DM and permits unauthorized component handling or incorrect session routing.
