Resource consumption via pre-authorization audio transcription
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Resource consumption in OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 allows remote attackers to consume transcription resources via Telegram group audio. The resolveTelegramInboundBody function calls transcribeFirstAudio before confirming that the group sender is authorized. Exposure requires Telegram group audio preflight transcription with access groups enabled; impact is limited to compute or billing consumption.
