External file-path control in Dimitar Ivanov HTTP Headers 1.19.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The apache_auth_credentials() function inserts the unsanitized hh_www_authenticate_user value into credential content, while update_auth_credentials() writes it to the unchecked hh_htpasswd_path destination. Administrator access is required; control of the destination and content permits arbitrary server-side file writes and PHP execution.
