CVE-2026-41318Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored DOM XSS via unsanitized chart captions

Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026

Stored DOM XSS in Mintplex Labs AnythingLLM before 1.12.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The Chartable component passes LLM-generated chart captions through renderMarkdown into dangerouslySetInnerHTML without DOMPurify, while the image rule inserts raw alt text into an HTML attribute. Exploitation requires influencing a chart caption and another user opening the conversation, exposing that user's session token and permitting actions within that user's privileges.
