Admin-level remote code execution via unsafe wget command
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
Command injection in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary server commands. The CloneSite plugin's cloneClient.json.php endpoint removes the quotes added by escapeshellarg, concatenates the resulting cloneSiteURL and SQL dump path into a wget command, and passes it to exec. Administrator access is required to set the malicious clone-site URL before the endpoint runs it as the web server user, enabling data access, modification, and service control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
