CVE-2026-41286

Service crash via invalid discovery communications

Published May 6, 2026 · Updated May 6, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in the WatchGuard Agent discovery service before 1.25.03.0000 allows remote attackers on the local network to crash it. Invalid discovery communications overrun a stack buffer, but WatchGuard has not disclosed the parsed field or unsafe copy operation. The attack requires adjacent-network access and interrupts only the agent discovery service; no code execution or broader host compromise is reported.
