Unauthenticated API credit abuse via credential ID
Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026
Authorization bypass in Flowise before 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to consume stored TTS credentials through an unauthenticated API. The whitelisted POST /api/v1/text-to-speech/generate controller accepts a body credentialId when chatflowId is absent, decrypts the matching stored API key, and submits speech generation. Exploitation requires a valid credential identifier and can consume the credential owner's provider quota without directly disclosing the API key.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
