CVE-2026-41241Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unsafe typeahead interpolation

Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in pretalx before 2026.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in an organizer's browser. The organizer search typeahead inserts submission titles, speaker display names, and user names or emails into result markup through innerHTML string interpolation without neutralization. Execution requires a matching search by an organizer with more than review permissions or an administrator, after which the script can read visible data and the CSRF token or submit authenticated requests.
