CVE-2026-41153Public exploit

Command execution via project guidance approval bypass

Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026

Command injection in JetBrains Junie before 252.549.29 allows context-dependent attackers to execute commands through a malicious project file. Junie treats instructions in .junie/guidelines.md as user-level guidance, allowing a background shell command to bypass read-only and approval checks. Exploitation requires processing an attacker-controlled project; commands run with the IDE user's privileges and can disclose local secrets.
