Authentication bypass in affected SonicWall SMA 1000 releases allows remote authenticated users to bypass AMC TOTP authentication. The AMC TOTP authentication path mishandles Unicode-encoded input, allowing the second-factor check to be bypassed; SonicWall has not disclosed the affected parser or comparison. Exploitation requires an authenticated SSLVPN administrator; affected branches are 12.4.3-03245 and earlier and 12.5.0-02283 and earlier.
