Authenticated internal-service access via unrestricted upload schemes
Published Apr 21, 2026 · Updated Apr 21, 2026
SSRF in Craft CMS 4.0.0-RC1 through 4.17.8 and 5.0.0-RC1 through 5.9.14 allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services. The GraphQL asset upload mutation accepts a user-supplied URL without restricting its scheme to HTTP or HTTPS, allowing Gopher-wrapped TCP commands and obfuscated loopback hosts. Exploitation requires schema permissions to edit and create assets in the target volume; successful requests can send attacker-selected traffic to reachable internal services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
